About the Area
Great location in a quiet neighborhood near the center of Barcelona. Less than 15 minutes from the Sagrada Familia and only 20 minutes walk from the beach and harbor (you can also go by bus). It is relatively close to important cultural sites (Parc de la Ciutadella, zoo ...) and a 25 minute walk (or 5 minutes by subway) from Plaza Catalunya. The apartment is only 3 minutes from the Marina metro station (red line) and 5 minutes from Monumental (purple line) if you need it. Have 10 minutes to the train station Arc de Triomf and plenty of bus stops! Just five minutes from the bus station which goes directly to the airport in Girona!

■ Take care of the planet: We are currently experiencing a drought. Please use water very responsibly to help protect the environment and our community.
■ Security: Ensure you lock the main door when entering and exiting the apartment to guarantee everyone's safety.
■ Beach Towels: Please refrain from taking our bathroom towels to the beach. I'd be happy to provide beach towels if needed!
■ Smoke-Free Zone: Please don't smoke inside the apartment, neither on the balcony. If you'd like to smoke, you can do so outside on the street.
■ Care for the Space: I value keeping everything spotless for you. If you use the kitchen or bathroom, I appreciate if you leave it as clean as you found it.
■ Our Feline Friends: My two cats are the real hosts of the house. They're calm, and you're welcome to play with them. They'll love it!

Hemos tenido mucha suerte de encontrar el espacio de Mel, super céntrico y conveniente para ir al festival Primavera Sound. Ella ha sido super atenta y compresiva con nosotros. Excelente host. Esperamos poder quedarnos allí nuevamente. Sus gatos son un amor, ya les extrañamos.

Unfortunately we have to rate our experience as one of the worst..
The apartment was dirty as hell and there was a really bad smell. The bed sheets were dirty and already used by someone else, the bathroom was terrible..the shower was clogged, covered in hair and dirt. In addition to this, we never saw the owner of the apartment and the day of the check-out we didn't receive any instructions.Host reply
Hi Giacomo! First, thanks for chosing my place to stay. Second, I'm really sorry to hear that. The day you checkin i was in a training as i said so i wasn't at that time at home, my friend welcome you and i asked you if everything was ok. Never said a word so we could fix anything. It surprise me about talking the house was dirty as hell.. actually the other 2 guests just rated 5 starts and the 95% of my stays are 5 starts on cleaning, i clean the house each two days as much and of course everytime there is a checking! What i ask all the guests is to leave everything clean when they use it. I'm really sorry if maybe you went to the bathroom and the person who used before didn't leave it properly. For that reason i clean bathrooms in the morning before guests wake up. The sheets were clean too, they just came from the laundry so nobody used it before! You found a hair on one pillow (yes it's true, but they were changed inmediately and that hair was not because the sheets we're used, that could have been on the laundry spot or in the coming) . Apart on that i was at home but i told you i was on a training so i was arriving at night and sleeping in the house and when i wake up you were still sleeping we didn't cross and for that reason i asked you on the phone how was everything to make you sure you we're comfy and happy.
I've fixed quickly what you told me i would have know the rest of your worries so we could talk about and make your stay better.May 2024

Mel is one beautiful person and everything she said was really true. The apartment was clean, cosy, quiet and comfortable. The terrace and kitchen are so cute! I am truly impressed by everything, especially the “Welcome guide” she sent us before we arrived. Sagrada familia is less than 10 minutes by walk and the location is perfect. I will for sure stay in her home next time I come, and I will come back! I don’t know what else I should say, you will see by yourself.

Had a really good time staying at Mel's. She welcomed me to her home and recommended some places to visit. The flat is also in a great location.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
