Karibu! , Welcome!
My name is Karim Muhsin, and I live in Arusha with my family. Our home is within the heart of Arusha, 1 Km from the city. Our house has a total of 5 rooms distributed in two wings. One wing has a sitting room, dining room, a kitchen, 2 bedroom of which one is confined with suite. The other wing has a sitting room with a fire place, a dining room, a kitchen and 3 bedroom of which has a suite. The rooms are spacious and we offer breakfast. We also have a professional chef who comes to the house when required.
We are from Maasai tribe and we run an organization; we call it "HIDDEN BY HOMESTAY". It is non-profit organization. We provides short and long term volunteering opportunities. Our organization focus on social impact in our village, hence in our country. We have a private school, a mosque for Muslims to worship and farms that we take care off and that provide a food supply for our family.
We help with travel, give you sensible advice on how to get around or will take you on tours at reduced fee, collect you from the airport and generally make your visit memorable. The neighborhood is close to public transport although our family car is up for hire. Book with us, tell us your interests and we will plan your tour.
We are happy, passionate and enthusiastic, welcoming family, whom we love to have guests from all around the world to let them live with us, eat with us, learn from each other cultures and exchange our knowledge and experiences.

Our house is located on north side of the city in a quit and safe suburb. We are 1 km from the city center and it’s only 15 minutes’ walk.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
