Our home which is a Hostel can accommodate up to 22 people. There are three dorm rooms; one eight bed dorm and two four bed dorms, each with en-suite facilities. There is also a private room for two people with shared bathroom facilities including hot showers and western toilets. Room prices include three basic meals a day, a mix of African and Western dishes, and free Wi-Fi. Pick up from town for free bus station, shuttle station and from any accommodation in town.
The lounge area is comfortable and homely with free Wi-Fi access. The outdoor terrace has a self-service bar, TV, DVD player and games including darts and a pool table. There are bicycles available to hire with the first hour free of charge. The garden area has space available for camping guests.
Our family run a non-profit organisation, The Green Living Planet that provides short and long term volunteering opportunities, so our hostel is environmentally friendly improvements are constantly being implemented including vegetable gardens, fruit trees, compost bins, recycling of glasses and water sewage for gardens.
We are young, passionate and enthusiastic individuals and love meeting new people and learning about their backgrounds and their journeys!

About the Area
Situated about 10 minutes from the city centre by car, The Greenhouse is located in a friendly neighbourhood, a stone’s throw from public transport (dalas), local stores and pubs.
Sombetini Road runs off Dodoma Road which is the gateway to most of the Northern Circuit safaris including Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.

Strictly no other guests allowed on the premises unless agreed by the host. No smoking inside the house, outdoor areas are permitted. Drugs and other illegal substances are forbidden.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
