House Rules

The Paying Guest's (referred to as Guest hereon) accommodation will be cancelled, if any of the rules and regulations listed below are violated by the Guest;
• if incomplete or false information is provided by the Guests.
• Guest may be required to make an additional payment of 50% of the cumulative rate for the Guest's period of stay as a refundable deposit, that may be retained if any damages are caused by the Guest to Host's property.
• Payments for the accomodation (including payment for deposit and meals, where requested) must be made to the Host when booking, prior to or on arrival by whatever payment mode advised by the Host.
• Guests must restrict their activities to the room allocated to them and may access the kitchen and the general living room, but must refrain from using any other part of the Host's premises without explicit permission from the Host. Guests must not bring any Pets into the accomodation.
• Guests must switch off the lights, fan and Shower water heater in their room every time they go out and take precautions to avoid wastage.
• Guest's consumption of pork, alcoholic drinks, Tobacco and/or use of any other illegal drugs, including smoking, is not allowed within the premises. Habit of spitting anywhere other than in a wash basin will not be tolerated within the premises.
• Host will not be responsible for any kind of illness, accident or mishap that befalls the Guest or his personal belongings within or outside of the accomodation during their stay with the Host.
• If Guests have contracted or are found to be suffering from any contagious disease, they will have to leave the premises immediately without any refund.
• Guests may entertain visitors during the day, between 8am to 10pm. Guests' visitors will not be allowed on the premises after 10pm.
• Grievances/matters relating to differences among Guests, Host's family/neighbors and Host's househelp shall be brought to the notice of the Host, who will take such action as may be necessary to resolve the matter. No police complaint will be lodged by the Guests before taking prior permission from the Host.
• If any misbehaviour or misconduct by the Guests is observed or reported by the Host's family/neighbors, the Guest will be removed from the accommodation immediately without any refund.
• Before leaving their Accommodation, Guests must pay any arrears and hand over the charges of rooms and other materials used during their stay, in satisfactory condition to their Host.
• Charges, for any damages to the property as well as to the furniture and fixtures caused by Guests' negligence or disregard will be recovered from the deposit.
• Guests must remove all personal belongings from the room when the duration of their stay is over.

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
