We love to pamper you in our home in Saraphi with 4 twin & 3 triple rooms made mostly of teak wood and local material.
Brand new is a huge pool 11x6 m plus kids pool 2x3 m.
We enjoy teaching Thai language & cooking as well as guiding you around. Facilities are: desk, private bathroom, most rooms have huge relaxing balconies, hair-dryer, closet / wardrobe, mirror. A fridge in a huge open kitchen is available for everybody.
Room 2,3,5,6,7 have airconditioning.
Sadly my wife Pranom passed away after a long fight with cervical cancer and there is now limited teaching Thai language and Thai cooking. Our maid is very complete in helping you to prepare a nice Thai meal as a cooking class experience.
Husband Marcel is still traveling, gardening and loves to take care or plan the trip with you. Our son Micki who is living on the premises speaks English, German and Thai.
Marcel is 66 and enjoys sports, socialising, traveling, learning foreign languages, gardening and nature. He speaks English, some French, German, and Thai fluently. Marcel is a seasoned tour leader in the whole region of South East Asia. The last few years and during Covid 19 he started an organic farm nearby and loves to teach you there in the fields of sustainable agriculture and more. Trips to the farm are recommended and not expensive:
Half day farm trip including transport, lunch or dinner is 900 B p.person if there are two guests, min. price 1800 B.
We suggest a full day program including a bicycle tour, farm visits, lunch in a local market with finger food, cooking class at the farm kitchen and pick up from hotel/return to the hotel. Price 2000 p. person, min. 2 guests. A great and complete day of experiencing local life, country life, food and agriculture.
Thai Grandma is 92. She enjoys socialising and television.
Marcel and Pranom are having two adult childs, one living at home.

This is a beautiful establishment that is both homely and rustically Thai. The resort boasts a cute pool, spacious communal kitchen, and dining area. The bedrooms are proudly decorated with traditional crafts collected by Marcel and family over their trips throughout southeast Asia, which lend a little museum-like quality to each room. I enjoyed staying in my room; its warm wooden hues made it feel like a home away from home. Host Marcel is also very friendly and knowledgeable of the Thai people and culture, as well as many other neighbouring Southeast Asian countries. He has a sincere appreciation and love for the country and region, and I enjoyed conversing with him greatly, always learning something new. Housekeeper Nut makes a wholesome complimentary breakfast each day as well, a helpful start to every day before heading out. Overall, I had a very satisfying stay here and look forward to going back soon!

I really enjoyed staying at this location, the family is very accommodating. I was able to experience several activities that I wouldn’t have otherwise been able to find, such as visiting a local temple festival. My hosts provided great suggestions around Chiang Mai and the several tours they offered were excellent! You can make the experience exactly to your liking with their input. Home is gorgeous, and has a delicious noodle restaurant on the property as well.
