Cottage-style house in the heart of the vibrant Bugolobi neighbourhood. Our home offers a private, convenient and safe aboard a few kms from Kampala city centre.
We occupy the main house within the same compound, which has a lush garden, available to our guests. We take bookings for the whole 2BD/2BATH cottage and not individual rooms in the cottage.

About the Area
Vibrant, mostly residential neighbourhood staggered with entertainment and commercial-use spaces. Cafes, supermarkets and a fresh food market are all within (less than 10mins) walking distance.
The neighbourhood features several low traffic, residential streets ideal for morning/evening walks, jogging or bike rides. It is safe and mostly quiet during the week. The weekend night life can be enjoyed at any of the popular lounges and bars in the area.
The guest house address is geo-tagged and easily accessible from a well-known main road so pick-ups by ride hailing services are a breeze. A main stage for taxis and city buses is less than 1/4 Km away. Otherwise the quick transport option of a motorbike (boda-boda) can be hailed as soon as you step out.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
As you enjoy our home, please take note of the following:
1. Limit smoking to the outdoor spaces, verandah or garden.
2. No pets of the reptile variety e.g snakes, lizards permitted.
3. Firearms are not permitted.
4. The water heater switch is located in the corridor bathroom, top right corner of the door. It takes about 30 mins for the water to warm up.
5. Please turn off the water heater, using the same switch, when done with bath time.
6. Lock front/back doors and gate when exiting the home.
7. The switch for the security lights is located in the entryway. Turn this on for exterior lighting in the evenings and turn off at your earliest convenience after day break.
8. Be a conscientious citizen, remain mindful of your energy consumption. Turn off lights and unused appliances when leaving rooms, don't leave water running.
9. While not common, there are occasional interruptions to power supply e.g when there's damage to grid lines from heavy rains. In the rare case that this occurs, you may experience a few hours without electricity. Please don't panic, there are rechargeable torches in the supply room, candles on the stands in the bedrooms, gas for cooking and heated water will stay warm for approx. 8 hours after the heater goes off. There are fused adapters in several of the sockets, however for additional precaution you may unplug your electronics to avoid any damage from possible surge when power is restored.
10. You're welcome to host guests and small gatherings any time during your stay however large parties cannot be accommodated because of the nature of the space.
11. Cleaning will be done on a 1/3 proportion-of-stay schedule e.g if your stay is 15 days, your cleaning service will be every 5th day. This includes bed/bath linen change, full home cleaning including utensils. Ecologically conscious guests are welcome to request no change to bed/bath linens depending on their length of stay.
12. We don't have mechanised laundry on-site, however personal laundry service is covered on a 1/2 proportion-of-stay schedule for stays of 5+ nights. Additional laundry service can be requested at a fee per service.
13. Most important of all, have a wonderful time and enjoy everything our humble home has to offer during your stay with us. Should you have any problems, please alert us and we'll find a resolution.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
