RUMBA Homestay is a facility owned by Agaba Andrew (Reverend) and Monica Agaba. Located in Kanungu town council in about 1 km away from The District headquarters On Kanungu - Kabira Road.
Apparently there are two Rooms reserved for Homestay services. If one wants to enjoy life without family you stay in the upper room where you will get a room for accomodation and a bathroom.
The other room is at the Go down where there is a sitting room bedroom and bathroom. There is good parking space and gardens to enjoy while you stay with us. You will enjoy both local and quick foods prepared for you on order.

About the Area
Our house is located in the western part of Kanungu Town. Its in a distance of 2 Kilometers from Kanungu District headquarters which are located in Kanungu town. When coming to the House the bus stop is in Kanungu town, then take Kanungu- Kihiihi Road from the round about stage after a distance of 200 meters turn on the right where there is mothercare nursery school, NIRA offices and UDCL station from there take Rumba Road and at the junction to Kinkiizi High school take right and move a distance of 300 meters you will find us there.
While in our home , you will enjoy a vast compound planted with mixed fruits of Mango, Orange, Apples, Lemon and papaws which you will enjoy while they are fresh from the garden. You will have to make a choice either to use the self contained room upstairs or the go down room that has a sitting room, bedroom and washrooms.
During your stay with us we will provide you with warm water for bathing, prepare breakfast for you as part of accommodation while other meals will be prepared for you at your order and cost.
In our area you will enjoy to have a feel of the African family experience (culture, food preparation methods, washing experience e.t.c).
You will also a have a chance to visit areas like Kibwetere infernal site, Ngoto Island Tourism Hub - Bwindi, Option B gardens an have a look at the chimpazee in Ngoto swamp.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
