I have a three bed-roomed house that I would wish to share with guests from all across the world. It is located some 30km (app 45 minutes drive) from Kampala, Uganda's capital and about 1 hour and a half drive from Entebbe airport. The place is in a very quiet and serene environment. It is a good place for nature lovers as well as those who want to have a feel of the traditional lifestyles and cultures of the people in Uganda. The environment around is very green with no any form of pollution be it noise or air.
The bedroom is self-contained with running water. We, however, promote sustainable utilization of the environment, hence us of solar for lighting and for home appliances. We use gas for cooking which is also eco-friendly.
I have great experience in handling tourists for more than 10 years the fact that I work with the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife, and Antiquities.
A specially built tourism vehicle will be offered to our guests as and when they need it.

About the Area
Our house is located in an estate which is a combination of residential and farm area. Here you will see people waking up to go to their gardens to do farming, enjoy seeing people milking, as well as all sorts of traditional activities yet is it only a 45 minutes drive from Kampala on a good road. The place is also rich in birds due to its proximity to a swamp and the air is so cool with beautiful people around to welcome you with a smile

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
I can accommodate everyone as long as one is interesting in learning about the Ugandan culture and appreciating nature. We drink at home, we do not smoke but do not mind hosting smokers

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
