My home is in a quiet suburb a short distance from Bournemouth town centre. Hurn airport and the local travel interchange are both nearby and easily accesible by public transport from bus stops just a couple of minutes' walk away. We are within easy reach of beaches, the New Forest, leisure centres, shopping, cinemas, restaurants, Bournemouth International Centre, golf courses and the Jurassic coast. We have a cosy single guest room with comfortable bed and shared use of the bathroom, lounge, dining area, kitchen and garden. Iam a keen traveller and enjoy hiking and mountain climbing locally and abroad. I speak some French and Spanish, and a little German as well as my native English.

About the Area
Our house is located on the north side of the town in a quiet and safe suburb just 10 minutes drive from the airport, the train station and the travel interchange. Bus stops are located within 2 minutes walk from thee house with routes covering all areas of Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. Just 2 minutes walk from the house is a convenience store, hairdresser, barber, chemist, pizzaria coffee shop, and a small home bakery selling pasties, cakes and sandwiches.

Meals

House Rules
We request that guests treat our home as they would like guests to treat theirs, leaving communal areas clean and tidy and washing up dishes etc after use. As we are a working household we ask guests to come home no later than midnight.

Jenny and Tom were super friendly, down to earth people. They go the extra mile in ensuring you are comfortable and content. They are extremely helpful in advise, local surrounding amenities, bus routes etc. I would certainly recommend them!!

Jenny is the greatest host I have ever seen. She is so lovely and exceptionally welcoming, available for any kind of queries about your stay and eager to help. Her house is in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood on top of offering all the comfort and making you feel even more than like home.

The host cancelled the booking 19 days before the arrival date.

Not having a downstairs toilet I found a problem, but apart from that Jenny was a very nice host and very helpful.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
