My husband and I moved to Hastings from London 11 years ago to raise our 3 children. They have all left home now and it is very quiet! I am a deputy head teacher at a local school and my husband is a retired plumber. We have a modern 4 bedroom detached house with a beautiful tropical garden and easy access to the train station, woodland walks, the sea front and Old Town centre. It is a perfect base to explore East Sussex from Brighton through to Rye and Camber Sands. Direct trains take you to Ashford Designer Outlet and with one change you can be in Central London in under 2 hours.
