Family of four (mom,dad,son 13 and daughter 11) live on a quiet tree lined surburban street. Awesome neighbors whom are very friendly. We have a 10 year old black labrador and a cat. We are in the center of Nassau County in Long Island. Bus stops are located in each direction approximately 5 blocks away. In our town there are several supermarkets, 2 movie theatres, Best Buy, 2 train stations, 2 hospitals nearby, parks, a school yard with a track for running is on the corner, 2 libraries close by and so much more. We are approximately 45 minutes from Manhattan, approximately half an hour from the beach and approximately an hour away from wine country.
We reside in a four bedroom, 3 and a half bath home. One bedroom would be available for your usage as well as a full bathroom for your use solely. We have a large yard and a deck which you are welcome to use, a large dining room, den, kitchen, full basement with a laundry room.
We enjoy watching hockey and football and movies as a family. We are all gamers. The children and I enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes from Mexican, Italian, American, Chinese cuisine..so you will never know what tasty treat may be coming!
I speak fluent Spanish and the children are learning the language,
We have a bicycle which you may use during your stay.
Plenty of traditions and hospitality awaits you!

About the Area
Our home is located in the center of a tree lined U-shaped street. It is a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We are located between two towns so there is double of everything close by. Tourist attractions are located in Manhattan which is approximately 45 minutes or less from the house by train. In Manhattan you can enjoy plays, movies, museums, shopping, and so much more, Located in Manhattan are many tourist attractions like Times Square and Ground Zero.
There are many stores, malls and restaurants in every direction. Rockville Centre has over 30 restaurants in town. There are two malls approximately 30 minutes from the house. More local shopping is Best Buy, CVS, Walgreens, 3 supermarkets, Kohls, Michael's and more.
There are beautiful beaches and board walks all within half hour of the house..Jones Beach, Lido Beach, Atlantic Beach and the Freeport Marina which includes the Nautical Mile filled with shops, bars, cafes, fishing spots, restaurants all nestled on a beautiful mile long boardwalk.
There are 2 train stations nearby as well as bus stops in walking distance from house.

House Rules
As the children attend school the noise level must be a minimal at their bed time.
No visitors permitted.
No drugs, alcohol nor smoking in my home.
Room checks will be done weekly.
The kitchen can not be used after a certain time which we will discuss and set a reasonable time together.
Curfew times will also be discussed and set to a reasonable time.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
