Upscale neighborhood. Conveniently located for driving or metro/bus. Home is in the corner of a quiet cul-de-sac with lots of free parking available around the house. Shopping, entertainments and restaurants are a few minutes away.
Furnished room includes a comfortable and clean full size bed with mattress, pillows and sheets; closet and dresser; desk and rolling chair; mini-fridge; lamps and rug, TV. Room has hardwood floor and windows.

* 495 and 270 highways are only one mile, five minutes drive.
* 8-10 minutes drive to NIH, American University, Suburban Hospital, Montgomery Mall, Sibley Hospital.
* Bethesda and Friendship Heights stations, red line, are two miles.
* Three minutes walk to bus stop, two blocks away.
* Two bus lines (T2 & 29) run every day and get metro stations in 7-11 minutes.
* Near entrance to Merrimack Park. Rock Creek Park is only 1 mile. Perfect for outdoors lover!

Payment Method: Please note that we require our guests to pay 100% of the booking total to us in advance of the booking to hold your room (on top of the 15% deposit is paid to Homestay.com)
Cancellation Policy: We ask our guests to give us at least 7 days’ notice for any cancellation. Any cancellation later than this will not be refunded.
No suitable for children (0-12 years) or pets. Events or parties are not allowed.
Only the guest named and registered in the original reservation is permitted to enter the house. We may require a copy of your photo ID or passport at check in. No extra guest visitations or events/parties at the house.
We are flexible with check-in and check-out; just let us know ahead of time.
Smoking on property is not allowed.

We loved our stay at Iris's place. Room has everything you would need. The neighborhood is very lovely and quite. Iris even gave us a ride to metro station several times that made our commute so easy! She was always ready to help and share insights about Bethesda and DC. We're so glad we stayed with Iris! She's a super host!

I could not stay at Iris house because of health issues, however I must say how kind was Iris following every step from my arrival to the country to support or help if needed. I don't have any doubt about she as a great host.

The host cancelled the booking 11 days before the arrival date.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
