Cozy rustic mountaintop cabin (9300’ elevation) nestled in 500+ acres of woods and beautiful rocky outcroppings.

This darling cabin sits atop the mountain, nestled in over 500+ acres of evergreen and aspen forest. Enjoy the wildflowers or fall foliage, moss and streams whilst hiking, mountain biking, dirtbiking, horse riding or bouldering during spring/summer/autumn. Explore the land on snowshoes, cross-country skis or sleds during the winter. Relax and watch the wildlife and stunning sunrises/sunsets from the patio or hammocks. Play in the various log tipis throughout the acreage. Bring your motorcycle or road bike for rides along the mountain roads.
Main level is an open floor plan with full size kitchen (fridge/freezer, oven, stove, sink and cupboards) and compact living space with futon, shelving and fold up table and chairs.
Basic bathroom with shower and composting toilet.
Accommodates queen and two twins in loft (ladder to loft). Small futon in living space. Pack'n'play / portacot available.
Linens and kitchenware provided.
Outdoor parking for 4 cars.

Additional Info
The cabin is attached to our main home primary residence where we live 365days of the year. We have seven children so the cabin function just provides a bit extra privacy space for the guests. We interact daily with our guests, and especially love taking them on hikes on our property, helping them collect eggs from our chickens, and sharing a bonfire together.

About the Area
Our cabin is located on top of the mountain, on 500+ acres, with beautiful mountain and city views. Within 10 minutes are two grocery stores, Starbucks, Anytime Fitness, etc. Denver City is 35min away.
Meals
Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
