I have a room available in my 4 bedroom home near CSULB; 605, 22, 405 freeways; near El Dorado Park and shopping. My son Bobby who is 20 years old lives with me and currently attends CSULB. I also have another room that is rented by another student. We have a small dog, I worked as a real estate agent; I'm out of the house most of the day. My son and I enjoy doing outdoor activities like hiking, biking. My son and I are fluent in Spanish. A private room is available with a shared bathroom with another student. wireless internet, NETFLIX (available in the living room), use of common areas like kitchen, for a light cooking, inside laundry, and back patio and utilities are included in rent.

Estuve 3 semanas y no tuve ningún problema; la casa siempre estuvo limpia y con un ambiente amigable, la Host (Carmen) siempre se aseguró de que me sintiera cómoda y segura, aparte de dar una atención impecable. La ubicación es agradable porque las paradas de autobuses están a 5 minutos caminando y el vecindario se siente seguro a cualquier hora, así que puede decir que es la mejor lugar si buscan algo en Long Beach.
I was 3 weeks and I didn't have any problems; the house was always clean and friendly, the Host (Carmen) always made sure that I felt comfortable and safe, apart from giving impeccable attention. The location is nice because the bus stops are a 5 minute walk away and the neighborhood feels safe at all hours, so I can say that it is the best place if you are looking for staying in Long Beach.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
