Our large bright and cozy home is located near the Arts District in Oak Park. You will be sharing our home with our family and if you venture outside you can meet our hens. The main floor bedroom has access to kitchen, laundry and family room areas. Second floor bedroom is just as cozy with access to upstairs media room as main floor amenities. Downstairs, you can relax in your own private retreat should you choose. The garden studio has double sofa beds, couch, tv, bathroom, full-kitchen and laundry. Guests from around the world have stayed and shared experiences with us we hope you can too. This is a five bedroom home with plenty of room to relax, socialize and even enjoy the outdoors.

The main floor has a kitchen, laundry and family areas, while outside, there is plenty of room to relax, socialize and enjoy the outdoors. About the Area
Our house is located near the Arts District in South East Oak Park. Our home is walking distance to grocery, coffeehouses and health clubs. 10 minute walks to the CTA Blue or Green line with service to downtown Chicago, O'Hare and other attractions. Pace or CTA Bus stops less than .25 miles in either direction.

House Rules
We do ask that you please do not wear any shoes inside the house and please do not smoke. Weekday Quiet hours are 10 PM – 6 AM. Weekends 12 - 6 AM. Please refrain from loud noises or music during that time.
Please limit showers to no more than 20 minutes. Should you experience loss of water pressure, please be patient as it will return after a few moments.
Prices set for single or double occupancy. For Guests +2; Please add $25 per person/per night. This will be added and confirmed prior to booking.
For longer stays (1 week or more) - we ask to clean at least once a week and vacuum 2 or more times per week. If you prefer to clean yourself, please let us know and we’ll be happy to provide the supplies.

Very nice and friendly host. House situated close to the police station, quiet region. Make sure you find out the actual parking rules and pay the overnight fare. 10-15 minutes walk to the subway. We would come again.

Chad's homestay facility was impeccably clean and thoughtfully appointed. Coffee and fruit were a nice touch and every need we had was anticipated....ranging from bathroom amenities to bedroom comforts. We have already recommended Chad to other potential visitors to Oak Park.

Chad is a great host and has a lovely family around him. The house is located conveniently between two train lines and is clean with a lovely little garden in the back.

The food was very good, especially the hot dogs. Host family was very nice and they took me to many places. The room was very good. Drinking with host father was very fun--he give me a lot of beers. I highly recommend this family.
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
