I have a 3 bed 2 bath house in Southwest Florida, Punta Gorda. I am a highly independent woman originally from Southeast Asia and live on my own. I recently renovated and furnished the place in 2 months. It is a labor of love and still work in progress. I am pleased to say that it is definitely much more homey and livable since I first bought it early this year. I would love to have visitors from time to time and happy to show you the area to what this wonderful place in Florida offers!

About the Area
Punta Gorda is located by the mouth of Charlotte Harbor in Southwest Florida which is the second largest harbor in Florida. It offers 125 miles of pristine boating water and is one of the world's top sport fishing destinations. In 2005, Golf Digest lists Punta Gorda #3 on their lists of best cities for golf in the country. Port Charlotte Beach is a small park located on the north side of Charlotte Harbor and is the only beach directly in our area. However, within a 30 minute drive, there are plenty of other options including Boca Grande, Englewood Beach and Ft. Myers Beach. If you are willing to go 45-60 minutes away, you can reach either Naples or Sarasota, including Siesta Key which is known for its silky smooth sand beach has been voted consistently as top 10 beaches to visit in this country .
There is abundant wildlife and bird viewing activities in wildlife refuges for animal enthusiasts. Places to visit in the area are Octagon Wildlife Santuary, Peace River Wildlife Center and Sanibel Island just to name a few.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
