We live in a quiet, pretty neighborhood in Tyler Texas. I love to cook yummy meals for those who stay with us. We hosted foreign exchange students for the last 3 years. The room has a nice bed, with desk and comfy chair and a closet with lots of storage. It is right by the bathroom. It has a big window. Our neighborhood is great for walking and biking! It has a pond for fishing. Our house is close to both colleges in Tyler. We've had a college student before. We are right by our church that we go to. We are a pretty active family so you would have the house to yourself most of the time. We have an outside dog and two tabby cats that are friendly inside, but I like to keep the house very tidy and clean. :)

About the Area
It's in a very quiet, safe neighborhood. It has wide streets, good for walking and biking.
We have a pretty, landscaped back yard with patio furniture. We are in walking distance to UT College. We have a pond with side walks. Fishing area in our neighborhood. We are in walking distance to our church Grace Community, that we attend. It is less than 5 minute drive or 30 minute bike ride to restaurants, grocery store, chick-fil-et, etc.

House Rules
We ask that you not make noise in the kitchen after 11pm since my husband and I's room is on other side of kitchen. We ask that you clean up after yourself in the bathroom since my 13 and 16 year old share the bathroom on that side of the house. There is another 1/2 bathroom though by kitchen/living room. You are welcome to use the laundry room. Please just ask before taking out our laundry to do yours. Laundry detergent is provided for you. You can decorate the room as long as it doesn't damage the paint. You can have a guest over to visit but not spend the night. Please don't play loud music. Use headphones for gaming and music. Please only take one shower a day, unless you are sweaty after sports and need another. We require bank transfer or Paypal payment ahead of time. Let me know if their is requirements for the room. At least 2 week cancellation policy. If items specific to you were bought and you cancel, that money will not be returned. If the room is damaged or items in room are damaged, then you will need to replace them or pay us for them/damages to be fixed.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
