Are you looking for a quiet space in the south end of Yakima? Come check out this room for rent! Located just 1.5 miles from YVCC, just off of W Nob Hill and within walking distance of Emil Kissel Park, this house features a spacious shared living area, parking in the driveway, and an East-facing concrete patio facing a private park, perfect for enjoying an afternoon outside. Furnishings include a bed (twin size) with mattress, a bedside table and lamp, a dresser, and a TV with antenna hookup, along with a sliding door closet. Home is protected by an alarmed security system, and the bedroom features a locking doorknob with keyed entry. WiFi, utilities, and driveway parking is included. *FEMALES ONLY*
I’m the homeowner! I’m 30-years-old, and I’m new to the Yakima area, but I love it already and am looking forward to putting down my roots here! I can be a bit reserved when I’m still getting to know someone new, but I would definitely be down for building friendships with my future Roomies. I also have two senior cats, who both absolutely adore getting love and attention!

About the Area
My house rests on the south end of Yakima, in a neighborhood commonly called "West Valley." There is a park behind my house separating me from my neighbors on the street behind me, and I am also a short walk away from Emil Kissel Park, which overlooks Yakima's airport. I'm close to essential shopping venues including Walmart and Safeway, about one mile from Yakima Memorial Hospital, and 1.5 miles from Yakima Valley College. Yakima is famous for farm-fresh produce, wines, and hops, so there are plenty of delicious restaurants, wineries, and pubs nearby. On clear days, you might also catch a glimpse of Mount Rainier or Mount Adams, two glacier-covered volcanoes that grace our city with their unique charms.

Hosts can offer a complimentary light breakfast at their discretion. All other meals, including a full breakfast, might incur an additional cost, if offered. Meals and any additional payment should be arranged directly with your host.

House Rules
Quiet hours begin at 9pm, and end at 7am. Please be considerate of other tenants and keep the volume down or earphones on during this time. If you would like to join me for shared meals or cooking responsibilities, let me know so we can arrange a schedule and decide how to split groceries. Please also let me know if you have any food allergies or dietary needs, and I will do my best to accommodate them and avoid cross-contamination.
Additional house rules will be provided as requested and before/upon move-in.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
