I had a wonderful stay at Carlene house!
She and her family are very kind and I felt like I was home. Together we went on walks in Swansea. I enjoyed talking with Carlene and she gave me precious advice! We listened to music and danced with her daughter Donique, it was the best. They also have a kitten called Sirius who is very sweet and I liked playing with him. I am very grateful I got to meet them and I recommend this homestay to everyone. Thanks you so much Carlene, Donique and Sean for being so nice I wish you all the best, and I hope to see you again!

Carlene and her daughter Donique are wonderful hosts and they treated me like a part of their family. They were very welcoming and sociable, and I felt at home immediately. Carlene and I also did some daytrips to some of the most beautiful beaches and coastlines that I’ve ever seen. The room is also very clean and spacious, and the house is located in a nice area with a bus station nearby. So overall, it was a perfect experience and I hope to come back to Swansea in the future. Thanks again for everything.

Carlene was a fantastic host. The house is located in a very calm and friendly neighbourhood. It was a perfect fit for us to work on our dissertations. Carlene and her daughter were very welcoming, making us feel at home. They were both engaging, and our stay was amazing. We enjoyed the general deep conversation about cultural similarities and diversities. Such interactions in our recess helped us to rejuvenate. In addition, she regularly checked on us and was overly concerned about our well-being. The communication was super easy and quick. This is the perfect place to stay, and I definitely would stay again.

As an exchange student, I was looking for a place for one semester where I could be culturally immersed and be around native English speakers. There is a bus stop really close as well as groceries stores and I enjoyed walking to Swansea uni in good weather as it was just a 45-minute walk. I strongly appreciated my stay at Carlene's place as she and her daughter are very nice people, always ready to help, and loves to show around.

Carlene and her daughter both are very kind and lovely ladies. I felt welcomed and comfortable during my stay in their house. I felt like I was in my own home. We had great time together, going for walks, interesting conversations, sharing delicious meals, occasional little party nights in her living room. I felt safe and enjoyed a peaceful time in this house. Carlene and her daughter were very considerate and respectful of my privacy, I had my own space. Simply a good house, great company, and everything that one needs. I’d highly recommend their accommodation and surely will book in the future again.
Carlene,
Thank you so much for your hospitality. For making my stay so comfortable and memorable.
All the best,

Carlene and her daughter treated me like family and I really appreciate it. They never hesitated to help me when I was in trouble. The house is clean and lovely, located in a spot with beautiful scenes and very convenient trasnportation. I felt just as comfortable as living in my home during the days. Carlene is a brilliant professional in university and shared a lot of knowledge about how to proceed in academic career with me, which is very helpful. I was also invited to her birthday party with some of her friends, who were very warm to me as well, and other acativities like shopping and cycling, which I enjoyed a lot!
It is definately a wonderful homestay experience. Always looking forward to being here again.
