We are two young professional couple living in a townhome located near intersection Keele and Wilson. Close to all amenities. Conveniently Located!!! Walking distance to grocery stores, shoppers, dollar store, banks,restaurants, pizza pizza, tim hortons, libraries and place of worship etc... Very convenient and accessible to public transportation and 24 hrs bus. Steps away from the bus stop.

We are a fund of cleanliness and hospitality. Shared Bathroom and Kitchen.We love welcoming new people in our home and learn from each other. We love sport, travelling and always excited for a new adventure!

About the Area

Lying in between Sheppard and Wilson, and Keele and Highway 400, Downsview is a lively neighbourhood filled with young families. The area has lots of green space, including Downsview Dells, Chalkfarm Park, Exbury Park, and Rodin Park, as well as stores that cater to the various ethnic communities that live here.

Close to Yorkdale mall, the neighbourhood also offers access to cinemas, high-end retails, boutique shopping and chain stores. Eglinton West is a multi-cultural shopping strip where shoppers can choose from hundreds of stores catering to all of their needs.

It’s very easy to get to other parts of Toronto from Downsview. The Allen Expressway and Highways 401 and 40 are easily accessible to drivers, and there are bus routes (some of them 24-hour) on Keele and Wilson. Bike trails can take you from Downsview Dells Park to Black Creek Pioneer Village, although there are no bike lanes on the major roads.

With lots of parks and schools, Downsview has some great facilities for families and lovers of the outdoors. Easy access to transit and driving routes also makes it easy to get around to different parts of the city. Keele and WIlson offers city conveniences without city prices!

However, if you want to go in the heart of Downtown, Toronto, It is easily accessible!

Toiletries: Keep and organize personal toiletries in the container provided.

Footwear: No outside shoes inside. House shoes provided or use your clean indoor shoes.

Energy/Laundry:
-Be mindful of energy usage.
-Limit showers to once a day.
-Coordinate laundry with hosts (once a week only).

Kitchen:
-Clean, wipe and put away dishes after use.
-Clean up after yourself in the kitchen.

Bedroom:
-Keep your room clean and tidy.
-Do not slam doors (bedroom, bathroom, etc.).

Washroom:
Prohibited in Toilet:
-Feminine products, condoms, dental floss, Q-Tips, makeup removal pads, medication, paper towels, tissues.
-Maintain cleanliness.
-Turn on vents during use and keep the washroom dry.

Guests:
-Strictly NO visitors.
-Friends can visit with permission. Check with hosts beforehand.

Public Transportation:
-Ask hosts for help with bus schedules or routes.
-Be mindful of volume and considerate behavior.

Alcohol:
-No alcohol unless of legal age (19).

Smoking:
-Non-smoking home. Smoke outside and dispose of cigarettes properly.

Emergency and Safety:
-Dial "911" for emergencies. Specify POLICE, FIRE, or AMBULANCE.
Memorize door code and keep it confidential.
-Always lock the door. Do not open to strangers. Ensure personal safety.
-Don't forget your key/code. Keep it secure.

Hair Strainer:
Remove ALL accumulated hair and dispose of it in the trash can.

Trash Disposal:
Dispose of trash in the provided garbage can.

Wipe off the sink and mirror after use.

Tooth Brushing:
Prevent splashing, especially around the sink area and mirror.

Toilet Seat:
Clean the toilet seat cover and under if necessary.
Keep the toilet seat dry and free of makeup stains.

Floor Care:
Keep the floor dry.

No Smoking:
Smoking is not allowed in the bathroom.

Lights and Exhaust:
Turn ON the exhaust fan before shower.
Turn OFF the light and exhaust before leaving.

Kitchen Etiquette

Surface Cleaning:
Wipe down kitchen counters and dining areas with water and soap.

Food Particles:
Do not leave food particles on countertops.

Leak Cleanup:
Wipe off leaks such as sauces, water, oil, etc.

Dishwashing:
Wash dishes, pots, and pans properly.

Microwave Use:
Clean and wipe the microwave after use. Use plastic covers only.

Countertop Clearing:
Keep the countertops clear.

Leftover Food:
Cover leftover food or store it in the fridge. Dispose of it if necessary.

Garbage Disposal:
Ensure no leaks or droppings around the garbage area.
Separate organic waste (food) from recycling (paper and plastics).

Organization:
Be organized and practice "Clean As You Go."

Communication
Concerns or Problems:
Communicate with the host family about any issues or concerns.

Resources:
If you are in a learning program, utilize school resources (teachers, counselors).

How do I book?

Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.

When do I pay?

Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.

When can I share my contact details?

Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
