Hello and welcome to our villa, a nestled family home away from the crowded city center of Cairo! This villa offers a special traditional architectural touch, a stylish and unique place that makes it a perfectly peaceful place that sets the stage for a memorable trip, you'll love sharing photos of this unique place with your friends.
During your stay with us, we would be delighted to share the same house with you and provide all the necessary information and support to make your experience in Cairo memorable. Getting around the city is incredibly convenient, thanks to the various transportation options available, we recommend obtaining a local SIM card upon arrival at the airport to ensure smooth travel. For a small fee of approximately $5, you can easily purchase a SIM card, enabling you to make local calls, access mobile data, and stay connected throughout your time in Cairo. This will be particularly useful when calling taxis whenever needed. Furthermore, Uber services are widely available throughout the city, offering you an additional reliable and accessible transportation option.

About the Area
El Shorouk ("the Sunrise") is a city in the Greater Cairo area, specifically located northeast of Cairo and north of New Cairo in the province of Cairo. The establishment of the city highlights the efforts of the Egyptian state in managing urban expansion to achieve several development goals. One prominent goal is to absorb the expanding population of Egypt and to ease the population pressures currently placed on the ageing capital. Other major themes of this project are to redistribute the population of the Greater Cairo area and to raise the standard of living in the region through the provision of new job opportunities from industrial projects in the city.

- Smoking is not allowed indoors, including vibes and electronic cigarettes.
- Alcohol is strictly prohibited during your stay.
- Egyptian cable should have Margie's certificate.
- Please do not bring strangers into our home. If you would like to invite a friend over, ask first.
- Hot water is provided by a Solar water heater, water takes time to warm.
- Please keep our home secure and lock doors and windows when leaving the house.
- Feel free to use the kitchen but please clean up after yourself.
- No pets are allowed inside.
- Please respect our home but feel comfortable. Treat it as your own house for the duration of your stay.
- Please keep quiet after 11 pm.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
