I live in a four bedroom semi-detached house in the suburbs of Dublin with my husband and daughter. There are two rooms available, one single room located upstairs in the house where the bathroom will be shared with my daughter. The double room is located downstairs in the house and also comes with a desk. There is a WC under the stairs but the shower is located in the upstairs bathroom. Both bedrooms have wardrobes and side lockers. There is an open plan kitchen/ living room/dining room.
There are some shops only 5 minutes walk away beside the bus stop. There are regular buses (every 10 minutes) 5 minutes walk away that bring you to the city centre and the north side of the city. There are further amenities in the area which are in walk-able distance such as post office, grocery stores, hairdressers and food take-away.

Loved staying with Barbara and her family. This was my first homestay and it was a great experience. It was nice to stay with a local family as I settled into Dublin. The room is lovely, as is the house and neighbourhood. Everything you need for a great stay is there. Breakfast is excellent also, Barbara is a great cook!
I felt at home and really appreciated the kindness of Barbara and her family. Highly recommended!Host reply

Barbara is very nice person and very chatty and friendly. The room was large and spacious and spotlessly clean and quiet. The kitchen is huge and very bright and clean. The bathroom was also very ,overall its a lovely house. Barbara is a wonderful host and nothing was a problem. It's a very relaxed atmosphere in Barbara's house.I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to everyone. The house is also in a lovely area with lovely views of the dublin mountains.

I booked a single room - but it was a living room with a single bed. The room was big and the heating only in the evening, I felt very cold- it was cold weather in February. There was only cold water in the morning. If you are not from Ireland and UK, I would not recommend to stay during winter.

My stay in Barbara´s home was fantastic. I was over a month in this home and I recommend it strongly to everybody. Barbara and her family are very sympathetic, nice and helpful, when I had some problem they always helped me immediately. Barbara talked me with very much patient because my English is very bad and chatting with her I could learn a lot of English. My bedroom was wonderful: very large, clean, with a big TV and a comfortable bed and sofa, even with a desk and a chair to study. If you need to study you can do it in the house because the neighborhood is super quiet. Also the area is very safe. In the same way, the shower and the kitchen were clean and convenient. If I return to Dublin I am sure I am going to come back to Barbara´s home.
