Our home has just been completely refurbished but all the original heritage features have been kept and painstakingly restored. The room in which you will stay has high noble ceilings, with beautiful ceiling slabs and iron beams all set within a minimal industrial style design compatible with the port and harbour atmosphere that lies outside.

Did you ever wonder how it looks like behind a Gallarija, those wonderful colored maltese balconies? The room lies opposite Parlatorio Wharf in the Grand Harbour. The wooden balcony is amazingly next to the perimeter and fencing of the dock area and features magnificent port and shipyard activities and would be suitable to those who appreciate seafaring activities and its many floating sea structures including superyachts, boats, tankers, oil rigs, ships, cruise liners and the like. The amazing hustle and bustle of the Harbour is there right in front of you to enjoy. At times during normal working hours, this interesting activity can generate some noise. However, the traditional Maltese wooden gallerija acts somewhat as a barrier to this, while still allowing you to enjoy the beautiful views.

The price shown here excludes water and electricity bills which are paid separately by the guest according to consumption.

About the Area

Typical Maltese neighborhood. You will appreciate the authentic Maltese character and lifestyle of local people in their day-to-day environment. Lovely helpful and colourful people and the bustle of Bormla and 10 minutes ferry nearby takes you to Valletta. The street is a dead end so you get the best of both worlds. This apartment is literally sitting right on the Harbour front with views of the port and shipyard. It is close to Palumbo shipyard and its superyacht operation, as well as the American University of Malta (AUM). There is unmetered street parking spaces in front of the accomodation. Lovely rocky beaches are also available within walking distance.

To some guests the neighbourhood might look a bit laid back, raw and unpolished. To others: authentic and showing a true slice of Maltese life and soul of the Three Cities. An opportunity to capture history before its lost. A thing some towns in Malta have completely lost.
