Hi there! I'm renting out a spare room in my apartment in De Baarsjes neighborhood, Amsterdam. The accommodation is bright and cozy and has a double bed. You are free to make use of the kitchen, living room, balcony, and of course, bathroom. You'll be sharing the communal areas of the apartment with my two cats and me (yes, I'm an animal lover :) ) The cats are both sweet and sociable. I speak English, Dutch, Spanish and Portuguese (and I understand French!) I love having guests around and giving them tips about this fascinating city.

My apartment is a short 13-minute tram ride from Central Station (take tram 13.)
The street is calm with a local feel and there are plenty of cafes around us and shops. Bus/tram stop is a 3-minute walk!

House Rules
I go to bed relatively early so I ask my guests to not make noise from 23:00 - 08:00. You'll get a key so you can come home later if you wish, of course, just make sure to keep it quiet. Thanks in advance!

Anna est une personne solaire, très agréable et accueillante. Tout est simple avec elle. Elle connait très bien sa ville et ne manquera pas de vous partager ses bonnes adresses. Un petit bémol, l'appartement n'est pas très bien chauffé.

Super cozy house, great host, gave us clean towels and clean room with blankets, two cats to fill like at home and her great personality to do the rest. Highly recommend if you want to feel at home!

Ana was a joy to chat with, extremely helpful navigating where i needed to go. When my phone died, she directed me to a great place for a replacement that didn't kill my wallet. Note- if you need to got to Centraal Stn #13 tram is 2 blocks away and has a little Coffee bistro across the street. Her home is warm, inviting, calm. Room itself is again calm , relaxing, comfortable & spacious and a kitty sleeping on the bed means "You are one of us" Thank you for a most enjoyable stay! Recommend 100%

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) and a 25% deposit using a choice of payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal. The deposit is collected in advance on behalf of the host to protect against no show or late cancellations (within 7 days of arrival). You then pay your host the balance due on arrival. The 25% deposit payment is made to the host 2 business days after your scheduled arrival date. This deposit payment will only be refunded if you cancel the booking at least 7 full days prior to arrival.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
