My name is Hazel, recently retired from nursing married to Malvin a missionary worker. We have hosted hundreds of non paid guests in our home, mostly from the USA mostly due to our work and also volunteered as a host for a high school German exchange student about 14 yrs ago. We have 2 daughters both married and 5 grandchildren in total. We have been living on our own for a while and have 3 bedrooms available. 1 with double beds, 1 with 2 single beds and 1 with a double bunk. We have a very large lounge/TV area, a braai room and an indoor swimming pool(we have a swim school) We live in the suburbs not too far from city centre and not too far from all the wine farms in the country. We speak English and Afrikaans. Both my husband and I love hospitality therefor all the guests as above. I love cooking and he is a good tour guide.

WOW!
I had a wonderful experience and a lovely stay , such a warm and welcoming family .
I didn't feel like a guest at all but part of the family.
They were so helpful and caring.
Would definitely recommend them to my family and friends.Zimkita xx
How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
