We are a family of five. Jaume (43) who is fireman, Maria (42) is secondary teacher. We have three children Júlia (14), Ares (11) and Nil (9). They are easy doing and love sports. We have one dog, Xiruca, who is a Golden retrevier, and one Cat, Jordan. They are very friendly and quiet.

About the Area
Ours is a big and comfortable house in a very quite and nice environment, near the forest and a few minutes to the center of Argentona, which is a small town 30 kilometers of Barcelona. It is part of a neighborhood called Madà. All the houses share a tennis field, two squares with child's swings and very friendly neighbours. We are close to Argentona (5 minutes by bike and 15 minutes walking). We can provide a bike to our guest.
Argentona has many interesting spots: an old Church that was renovated by the famous modernist architect Puig i Cadafalch, a library, gyms and many shops. Also has good restaurants and parks.
If you like hiking, only 40 min walking from our home, you will get to the top of the Burriach mountain where you will find the ruins of an old Middle Age castle with amazing views to the coast, the sea and the surrounding mountains.
The beach is only 5 km away from our house, and a public swimming pool is available in Argentona on summer time. At only 5 km from our house there is the train station, where you can take the train to get directly to Barcelona. Also we have a direct bus who take you to Barcelona o Mataró many times per day.
Mataró is the bigest town close to Argentona, there are the university, museums, cinema, theatre and shops. It is only 10 minutes by bus.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
