At Patan Homestay, you get to join in and live the real lifestyles of the Thai - Yong community. It’s a wonderful way –and the only way – to genuinely feel the traditions of a Thai-Yong village first hand.
At the homestay guests are treated like family and we arrange everything to make sure your stay is comfortable and very enjoyable. There are 2 options for you to choose from:
1. If you choose to stay at Patan Homestay without tour & activities, you will be responsible for yourself in regards to transportation. There are activities that you can do such as ride a bicycle, travel around the village, etc. My friend speak only Thai and a little in English. I'm the friend of the Homestay's owner (I'm working in Chiang Mai city). I can meet you at Chiang Mai city and guide you how to get there.
2. If you choose to stay with private tour & activities, I will take care of you with English speaking, we offer you an accommodation with a local day tour. There are many activities during our homestay, such as cooking, trial to dress and see traditional Thai – Yong cloth. As part of the tour package, you will get to travel around the village. You will see cloth weaving, elephant carving, making sticky rice basket, making bloom from coconut leaf, making dream catcher, painting, making rice crispy, making coconut rice pancake, etc. and shopping local hand made gifts/products, ( You can get traditional Thai massage and or visit hot spring pay extra), We also provide Northern Thai food and blessing ceremony to welcome all customers.

More than 4 persons = 2000 Baht/person
We also do 3 days 2 night.
Remark:
- This homestay run by local people, most of income goes to local villager.
- The schedule is subject to change according to weather and community activities.
- Patan homestay is 20 km. far from Chaing Mai town, about 30 minutes driving.

How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 250 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
